SSL Certificate Monitor
Track your SSL/TLS certificates and get alerted before they expire.
How it works
UptimeGuard connects to the target host on port 443, retrieves the SSL certificate, and checks its validity and expiration date. You'll be alerted when the certificate is approaching expiry.
Configuration
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Hostname | The domain to check (e.g. example.com). |
| Alert Days Before | Number of days before expiry to trigger an alert (default: 30). |
What gets checked
- Certificate validity (not expired, not self-signed in production)
- Days until expiration
- Certificate issuer information
Dashboard view
SSL monitors show the expiry date and issuer on the monitor detail page. The Reports section includes an SSL & Domain overview for all your certificates.
